Please Scroll
this makes me so happy.
i have had people ask me if it’s ok “to have to scroll on a webpage”.yes, it’s ok. it’s highly encouraged.
scrolling is fucking AWESOME.
That might be true from a design standpoint, but from a usability standpoint, scrolling behavior still isn’t the norm for users. So make pretty designs that scroll, but don’t expect them to provide actual utility on the web. Because more users won’t see the content. So if your goal is to have a useful web site, you often won’t be meeting that with a site that scrolls.
